The Shalimar United Methodist Church Praise Singers and Swinging Band will present a Swing Band Christmas Concert, BIG BAND-STYLE. The concert, part of the Children's Neighborhood Concert Series, will feature the wonderful traditional songs of the season as they are blended with the nostalgic Big Band sound. Under the direction of Music Minister Jeff Keeman, the Praise Singers and Swing Band will highlight favorite songs of your old albums, such as Andy Williams' original, "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year," and other popular songs and carols. Musical renditions include "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," O Come All Ye Faithful," and even a fun "Jingle Bell" medley.
Everyone is invited to attend, and all donations go to Children In Crisis to feed and clothe the abused, abandoned, and neglected children of The Children's Neighborhood, our local foster care home. Don't miss this very special and unique holiday performance and an opportunity to help our children!
